Aims of the Society in the Educational Field

  • Work towards the eradication of illiteracy by establishing and re-establishing pre-primary, adult education, college education, and condensed courses in the area.
  • Promote activities for the educational and socio-economic development of society in both rural and urban areas by providing various training programs and resources to youths for their future economic security through self-employment and absorption.
  • Organize seminars, conferences, and public meetings to address various educational issues by applying scientific educational methods.
  • Hold seminars and popular talks to promote education among the public.
  • Publish books and proceedings, and establish a publication house to create job opportunities for the youth.

Developmental Objectives

  • Organize programs on Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) to overcome different social and economic issues.
  • Promote, encourage and assist voluntary action in the implementation of projects for enhancement of rural prosperity.
  • Work for removal of socio-economic isolation of disadvantageous groups like poor women and indigenous people for the development process.
  • Motivate unemployed youth for self-employment through various types of industries by arranging awareness programs of Government Schemes.
  • Oversee development of roads, lanes, supply of pure drinking water, and proper electrification.
  • Undertake various social work in the area and render voluntary service to the common people.
  • Create awareness among people against anti-social activities, drug addiction, substance abuse, and drunkenness.
  • Organize training and awareness programs and camps on rural development and government policies.
  • Develop agriculture sector and set up industries for economic development of rural areas and solving unemployment problems through income-generating schemes.
  • Assist both Central and State Governments in implementing rural development projects and help develop village and cottage industries while protesting against corruption and anti-social activities.

Health & Sanitation

  • Hold seminars and popular talks to create awareness regarding sanitary measures, safe drinking water, maintenance of hygiene at home, and various contagious diseases.
  • Organize free treatment camps and awareness programs on AIDS, Hepatitis-B, HIV, TB, Blood Sugar, H1N1 (Swine Flu) and other threatening diseases with help of Government and experienced personnel.
  • Create awareness amongst rural poor women and children through free health checkup camps and education camps.
  • Promote awareness about sanitation, cleanliness, birth control, safe drinking water, self-employment, and human rights.

Environment

  • Promote environmental and ecological education and research in different fields.
  • Educate people about biodiversity, environment, wildlife, forests and their benefits through meetings, popular talks, and science exhibitions.
  • Organize awareness campaigns on climate change, global warming, and CO₂ pollution to promote healthy living.
  • Organize awareness programs on natural calamities, disaster preparedness, forestry preservation, and training on safety measures.
  • Provide voluntary support during natural calamities.

Qualifications to Become a Member

The membership of the society will be given to any Indian citizen who meets the following criteria:

  • Has attained the age of eighteen years
  • Promises to abide by the rules and bye-laws and all decisions taken by the association regarding amendments
  • Subscribes in writing to carry out, to the best of their capacity, the objects of the association
